About Me

My name is Elizabeth Wanjiru Mwangi I was born on 7th July 1981 at Afraha Nakuru in Nakuru county I went through my child milestones successfully and joined std one at mweruti primary school for my basic education completing in 1994. I later joined saint ann. Secondary school for my higher education completing in 1998. After school I joined static college for hairdressing and beauty therapy for two years. After college I have been employed by many salons until when I decided to start self employment with my little savings in the town of Gilgil where I live with my immediate family. I am married with 3 children all lovely daughters of whom together with my husband we are very proud of. I look forward to take pride of being a zidisha member.

My Business

My business is located at biashara centre in the heart of Gilgil town it is specialized in the sale of all types of beauty products, cosmetics. Costume jewels and hair pieces. I started this business after I realized there was great demand for these products in my locale. People used to travel to the nearby town of Nakuru to purchase the same hence making me to capitalize on the demand. I usually get my products from direct importers in the city of Nairobi where they are cheaper. That makes me to give my customers a better bargain hence making my business a better choice than those of my competitors. My business does well and the sales are average, this makes me enough to cater for and educate my children and also to pay for my house rent and salary for my 2 workers and meet my utility bills. I have also been able to hire purchase a plot where I am planning to build my residential house with the proceeds from the same business. The only challenge that I face is luck of enough capital to stock more products to meet the demand. With zidisha platform this problem will be a thing of the past.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders i am highly pleased to join zidisha a wonderful platform to expand and grow my business. i will use the money to purchase more stock of cosmetics. costume jewels and hair pieces to sell to my customers for increased profits which will enable me to pay back my loan while maintaining a steady growth to the business. i will also be able to reload my business with new beauty products to attract more business.
