i am married to 1 wife and i have 8 children .5 are grownup and the lest are in school . i live in kiptagwanyi gecha plot no 59 and this is my shamba.i started this business early year 2000 after seen that agriculture is giving me loses and because before i enter in to the farming i was doing this job of livestock business and i know where the loss came, so i was qualify in this business and also i know it is profitable.
my business entail in livestock business i buy goat and sheep from the farmers and sell them to the people who slaughter and sell meat. i buy live goat and when slaughters i measure it selling 200 per kilos. like some time i can buy a goat with 18 kilos for about 2,500 ksh but when i sell i get about 1000. the business is profitable and the demand is very high in this area because many farmers know me very well and also because i am an elder in the church many people believe me.the main challenge is high price of commodity also drought in this area that made many goat or sheep to be very thin thus make my customers to reject it and i sell to the other farmers with low profit. poor road.
dear lenders in this first loan in zidisha, i want to buy livestock to sell to the people who slaughter and sell to their costumers and because i deal only in sheep and goat, in this money i will be able to buy 10 of them in a wholesale price and sell them one by one to my customer, this money will boost my business in a better way in this time of festive season because many people love to eat this kind of meat with their family
