About Me

My name is Rosemary Wanjiku Kamau I was born in 1958 at kijabe in kiambu county I attended kijabe primary school in the post independent Kenya for my basic education. By those years schools were very scarce and far from home. Leaning was quite a hardship. In 1968 I completed my primary education and joined kijabe girl’s high school for my o levels completing in 1972. After school I joined jogoo secretarial college for a course in typing. In 1975 I got a job with t a coffee firm in Nairobi a place I worked until 1986 when I quitted to start self employment. I started to supply fruits in institutions to make a living. I am a single mother blessed with 2 children a boy and a girl whom I love so much. I look forward to be a zidisha member.

My Business

My business is located in Tumaini house in Gilgil town. I am specialized in the supply of fresh fruits to the number of hospitals, schools and institutions within and outside Gilgil. I usually collect my fruits from the highlands of Kenya where these fruits are grown in large scale. The wholesale prices that I buy these fruits are reasonably good leaving me with good profit margin to cater for the overheads while making enough to sustain the business. My customers prefer my products because they are cheaper than those of my competitors while maintaining good quality. The business does well because it is from its proceeds that I have been able to buy a plot and built my own residential house where I live in. the challenges my business faces is luck of enough capital to start supplying exotic fruits such as apples, grapes and imported oranges which fetches very well here in my locale with zidisha platform I will be able to fulfill my life time dreams of living a better life.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders luck has struck on me for joining zidisha a platform of its kind in our modern history thanks to the entire team. i now have a chance to put my business in the fast track of progress. i will now be able to increase my fruits orders to supply to the local institutions in and outside Gilgil town. i will also be able to afford to supply exotic fruits like apples, grapes and oranges etc which has very good profit margin. the increased profit will help me to pay back the loan while maintaining growth to my business. be bless all as you stretch your generous hand towards filling my bids.
