About Me

I live in Kahawa Wendani just behind Nakumatt Supermaket Wendani Branch.House number 8, plot number 7 which is just a few metres away from the Nairobi - Thika Superhighway.
I am the first born in a family of two.
I am a Mechanical Engineer (Automotive) based in Kahawa Wendani.
I started my business after clearing my studies in 2012 from Thika Technical Training Institute.
My garage, Shanky Auto garage, came to being in January 2013 as a specialist in Toyota but now, a year later, I also deal with Subaru and Nissan brands.

Shanky Auto garage, came to being in January 2013 as a specialist in Toyota but now, a year later, I also deal with Subaru and Nissan brands.
There is demand for my services since with the team of young energetic mechanics, we have come up with a specialized way to cater to our customers needs.
Despite the competition, we have managed to remain on top due to the fact we don't overcharge our customers and also make sure that we offer personalized services.
Also, we are experts in what we do.
The business however faces some risks, for instance hike in spare parts prices, and at times the unavailabity of the spare parts can really cost us but we try all we can to ensure our customers never leave our premises unsatisfied.
In a good month, after paying my two employees, I manage to get Ksh.15,000 on the lower side.

Loan Proposal

Dear Zidisha Lenders,
I will use the loan granted by you in the following criteria:
Ksh. 13,000 will be used to add stock, that is, in form of spare parts. This will be the minor spare parts like tail lights, bulbs and wires. This are the minor things that make my business do well even in God forbid, difficult times.
Ksh. 10,000, will be used to purchase the underpath vehicle ladder. This will go a long way to enable us service vehicles with ease as we will not have to lift the vehicles up with a jack, but instead a driver will just drive the vehicle over.
Please fund my proposal.
