I was born to Mr Jacob and Mrs Jane Kisaka of Chemwa location. We grew up in a family of farmers and my parents did their best to educate us taking me to school until i managed to clear primary school then did not manage to join secondary for lack of fees.I started riding bicycles to carry people for a living and would save the money and paid for studying masonry alongside other masons at a fee.I did this for a while and saved money then started a home supplies business where i buy items from wholesalers in the town and supply them at discounted rates to homeowners and shop owners in the villages.I am married and have three children.
I buy soap, sweets, brooms, detergents and food items such as baking flour and take them to peoples homes to sell at discounted prices and providing convenience for the people in their homes who find it hard to get to the town.I sometimes get to the small village shops and supply them with items which they cannot easily buy from wholesalers in the town. This business has enabled me feed my small family and i am saving up to open a shop with all the stock i supply, a kind of depot. In my free time i play soccer in the local team.In a good day i make around 74 in a days profit. My costs are low since i own my bicycle and only pay municipal council rates which are sometimes on and off and are not mandatory as they should be.
I will buy soap worth 30$ and sell it at 35$,making 5$ in profits for each bundle of bar soap.I will also buy powdered detergent which is under high demand because of the increasing rainy weather and muddy roads (most Kenyans walk to work or ride bicycles in the rain),i will buy detergent worth 25$ and repackage it and sell at 30$ for each dozen packages.I will be able to hire one young man to take a North Easterly route in supplying within our local town, increasing sales and creating employment.
