I have been in the private and public sectors in Kenya until two years ago when I decided to quit and join business. I am a supplier to different government. I am a banker by profession and a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University of Nairobi. I also have a certificate in Economics Management from the University of South Africa. I also have a Community Based Organization (Kinangop orphans Education Programme) whereby I assist children who are orphaned due to HIV/AIDS get schoolfees and proper housing. I also help disabled children get wheelchairs (as can be seen in my facebook photo album 'freely ye have received, freely give'. I am a husband and a father to a one year old son.
I have bought a cow and received another one as a gift from my grandmother whose milk production is very low. i want to construct a zero grazing unit for them so that I can enhance their milk production. I also want to purchase dewormers and certain drugs to eliminate ticks which will also enhance milk production. By so doing, the cows shall be in a position to produce about 15 litres of milk each per day. The cost of the zero grazing unit shall be about $300 but ill get some of the construction materials like poles from within the farm. Ill need to purchase iron sheets, nails and pay the carpenter about $150. This amount shall be payable in atmost 3 months from the proceeds of the sale of milk.
Once I get this loan, ill be able to improve the standard of living of my cows bu building a zero grazing shed for them. this will definitely translate to an improved milk production. I also will purchase dewormers which they badly need. Construction of the shed will require more that $300 but ill get some of the construction materials like poles from the farm.
Ill need $30 for dewormers, $20 for pest control chemicals and $100 for 8 roofing ironsheets.
The amount for paying the carpenter will be from the weekly payments from the sale of milk which shall be $50
Any assistance shall be greatly appreciated.
