About Me

My name is Valentine Omogi, I am teacher by profession. I went to Butula primary school and later proceeded to Butula secondary school ,then went to Kagumu teachers college were I graduated with diploma in Agricultural Education and Extension.
After leaving college I did not get a job immediately. I searched for a job for several months, but since I had bills to take care of I had to find ways of sorting them out. I started planting kale in small scale,but since I had no water ,i did rain fed agriculture and suffered huge loses due to market floods. As i was still thinking of the next move, a solution come by, i decided to get a tank for water storage. I could store up to 10000 liters for use during dry season and it paid off.That is when i started doing commercial farming.
I have triplets kids who are in the university studying Economics, I love them all and wish them well in life.
I am a basketball player and so doing my free time ,I play basketball. what I like most. I also love socializing and making new friends.

My Business

I am involved in horticulture farming and mainly grow kale's in my farm. I sale kales to schools and local markets.
Kales are liked and consumed by most people in my area and that explains why the demand is high always.
I choose this business because it is profitable and also had a lot of knowledge about it.
My costs in a month are $100 and my revenues are $350 in a month. I use my profits to pay fees for my children ,I also pay fees for my orphaned nephew who is in secondary school.

Loan Proposal

I am pleased to present my request to you ladies and gentlemen of $100 loan to facilitate completion of water borehole for irrigation. I recently expanded my farm and though I store water , it is likely not to be enough and that is why i took early precaution to dig a permanent source of water. Thank you in advance.
