About Me
My childhood was incredible since I had my favourite cousin growing alongside me . I used to love everything that had to do with food, that is cooking and tasting anything that was edible . playtime was full of creativity where I would pretend that I was selling stuff at the marketplace.It was a child hood full of fun and adventure.
I am a diploma holder in the field of Information Techonolgy which I completed in the year2011.
. After My daughter was born, my finances was not enough to take care of her.Her father was also not in employment at the time.The bills and debts were piling and that's when I thought about starting a grocery business with the 30,000 shillings I had saved. Business was not so bad, but I noted that my husband could also do well if he got employed as I worked at the grocery and take care of the baby. I started networking, talking to friends , searching over the internet to be able to secure a job for my husband. All that I did became fruitful when my husband got a job at a petroleum company. Since then I am yet to cover my debts as well as sustain myself and my family.
One of the culture of the people in my land that i admire the most is the traditional ceremonies , where people dress in traditional attires that are colorful and impressive.
During the traditional ceremonies a bull is slaughtered and roasted for a feast.Another unique feature is drinking fermented milk milk which is always stored in a big calabash.
One of my unique pastime hobby is art and design.I enjoy designing any artwork through recyclable materials , such as tins, cans old cloth, papers etc. to create a wonderful artwork which can then be sold for cash.
My Business
The goods I provide are mainly groceries and fresh juices.The reason why the goods are useful is because they have high nutritional value and is highly recommended when one needs a balance diet.I chose this kind of business because the goods are readily available and come in variety and also it is nutritional.My typical costs are transport, labor, storage and packaging of the groceries that I sell.The profits that I get from the business are use for home Improvements and reinvesting to grow the business.i would also use the profits I get for home improvements and also learn and acquire new skills.
Loan Proposal
The loan will be used to buy a display worth $30 to enable my customers to be able to view and select the products of their preference with ease. This display will enable me and my customers save time hence my sales will increase leading to growth of the business. My profit will increase by 1.5%.
