About Me

I am an ambitious woman.married with a beautiful baby girl.i am a nurse by profession,currently working as a nurse tutor in chogoria hospital.i grow vegetables for sale within my locality.Due to my constrained financial status,i am determined to make ends meet by expanding my farming project.i aspire to put up a green house in order to overcome the risk of pest infestation and adverse effect due to climatic changes. I am blessed with another baby and now i am a mother of two and also very ambitious when it comes to farming.
I grew up in a small village and i went to school which was quite far. i had to go through peoples farm so as to get to school on time. That is where i grew a passion for .
Later on i joined a church ran high school and finally i got sponsorship to go to a university to do nursing thus helping me full fill my dream of helping people.
When i am off duty i am ever at my farm. somehow i don't ever get bored of farming.

My Business

I grow vegetables for sale and my clientele has expanded because i sell fresh vegetables so i have recently received many referrals and am not able to meet their demands due financial constrains.given a loan,i will be able to expand my business by putting up a green house which will ensure constant supply of the vegetables hence repay the loan from the sales.i will keep updating you on the progress of the business.my initial capital was 200 dollars and now its at 325 dollars i thank all my prospective lenders in advance. Tanks to the zidisha team. with the amount granted to me last time i was able to expand my veges business through establishment of a green house. This has enabled me to buy a wonderful dairy cow which is an added resource.
Through the earlier profits i have been able to buy another dairy cow and now i wish to expand my milk business. currently i am selling to individuals but i wish to do so on a larger scale. For that purpose i will need at least 350 dollars which i may not be in a position to raise by myself. thence my appeal to the zidisha family who have always stood with me.

It has been a journey and zidisha has been with me all the way. i started with the veges, got to the greenhouse, the chicken and now i am on a new venture.
I have really embraced diversity and now my new venture is RABBITS.
The demand for rabbits meat in Kenya is so high and as we speak the market is nowhere close to being exhausted. The ministry of health has laid emphasis on the need to take rabbit meat since it is cholesterol free, low in sodium and high in protein content.
I want to tap this wonderful market since besides reaping big, i will have helped people live healthy as well.
I'm requesting for a loan of 600 dollars to enable me carry on my venture. i have already constructed the rabbit hutches and bought the initial three rabbits.
I intend to spend the loan if granted as follows

chinchilla breed (four served does @35 dollars per doe )
flemish giant breed( four served does @35 dollars per doe)
new zealand white breed( four served does @ 35 dollars per Doe)
carlifornia white breed( 2 served d per doe)
This Makes it 550 dollars. The remaining amount will be used to buy rabbit pelletes.
The money will be re-payed through the profits i get after the sale of the bunnies. more so i still have some chicks awaiting to be picked.
i expect at least 80 % profits since there is ready market such as RABBAK KENYA, RABBIT REPUBLIC AND ALCARE.
the rabbits urine will be sold to people who make organic fertilizer thus increasing the income.
I will be earning, helping people live healthy through the white meat and the consumption of food free from commercial fertilizers.
I will also have created s job for the person(s) taking care of them
