My names are David Maina Wairobi. I am 25 yrs old. I am married to Maureen Vugutsa and blessed with a beautiful one year old baby girl Shantelle Wanjiru. I am a tour guide by profession having studied at Nyandarua Business College. I live in Kayole estate, Embakasi Central Constituency in Nairobi County, Kenya. I am also a poultry farmer. I keep poultry mainly for eggs consumption. I currently have a stock of about 15 free range hens. I sell mostly to my neighbours at home. I also have a dog called Rex.
As I have indicated on my profile biography, I am a tour guide by profession but also a poultry farmer. I have managed to increase my hens stocks and eggs supply. I have been able to buy myself a second hand car which helps me to deliver my eggs quickly and efficiently during the day, during the night i work extra as a taxi driver which brings me extra income. I humbly seek help to finish up paying for the car which is in garage. I supply fifty[50] crates of eggs during the day of which each crate holds thirty [30] eggs. A crate goes for two hundred and seventy shillings [$2.7] thus fifty crates i get thirteen thousand five hundred [$ 135] per day. During the night the car gives me a minimum gross nett of a thousand shillings [$10] per night. Since i got blessed with another daughter who will be joining kinder-garden next year i have managed to use my profit to open up both children a joint bank account which i do save for them their future school fees. I deposit on their account on a daily basis. I have also managed to secure my family on a health insurance policy [NHIF] which i pay on a monthly basis. I have also managed to secure myself and my family a saving retirement work plan [NSSF] which i do send funds on a daily basis.
I will use the loan to finish up paying nine thousand shillings [$90] for the body work repair balance, the rest six thousand shillings [$60] buy an insurance cover for the car. The car will help me ease my egg supply business, it will also ease in my poultry farming feeding program. After i supply my neighbouring shops with eggs, i go buy my hens food and transport the mash with the same fuel expense i incur when supplying. My income will increase multiple times since i will cut shot my transport expenses and i will be earning extra cash during the night in my taxi business.
