My names are Ruth Mwangi I reside in Kitale,Trans Nzoia,Rift valley region in Kenya.I was born in a family of 12 siblings being the fifth-born .I was brought up in a poor family and my parents had to work extra hard to pay our school fees .This made my school life a challenge but I managed to complete primary level and later secondary. My parents could not afford to pay my college fees .I started selling farm products from our small piece of land at the nearby market ,the profit I acquired from this business i helped my parents in paying fees for my younger siblings and I was also able to pay for my college tuition fees I was studying part-time .
In college, I attained a diploma in sales and marketing and I was employed in a company in nakuru town(Simba machinery) as a sales representative. I worked very hard and was promoted to a sales manager.
I started my own business in 2010 from the savings I had saved from my salary. I purchased farm machines ie choppers, posh mills and generators.
I shifted to kitale town because it is an agricultural town and therefore there is high demand of these farm products.
My hobbies are singing, reading, traveling socializing and volunteering, dancing, .
