About Me

Hello zidisha, I have heard alot about zidisha and how amazing it is. My names are Bernard Kibete, I am married and blessed with a baby girl. I was born raised and educated in Muranga county in kiharu division. After highschool I joined College in the city of nairobi where I graduated with a diploma in electrical engineering.
I got employed in an electrical firm where I worked for two years, in 2007 I quit employment to persue my passion in business.
I started small, selling electrical applliences from a make shift platform on the roadside, then I was determined to open a shop within a year.I planned well and in a years time, I was able to achieve my objective. My shop is located in kitengela town in a busy street. My hobbies are jogging, going to gym and part time actor in the local commedy programmes. I love people and making friends.

My Business

My business mainly deals with electricals and electronics for sale.I buy goods from wholesale stores and retail them to my clients.This involves, bulbs, solar panels, solar bulbs,electrical cables, lamp holders, and general electrical appliances.The cost of bulbs range from $5 to$10, solar panels from $50 to $150 and expect a profit of between 50% to 75%. Being an urban centre, there is high demand for my products and can do replacements once or twice a week.My profits goes to basic need, home keeping and Rent paying and school fees.

Loan Proposal

Hello dear lenders, first is to thank all of you for the great and noble work you are doing. I request your assistance to raise a loan to stock my shop. I will purchase 50 pieces Electrical bulb @ $5 each and sell @$1 making a profit of $25. 50 pieces of of solar bulbs @ $1 and sell @ $15 making a profit of $25. I project to make a profit of 75% by the time I finish up paying the loan. This will also make my business to grow by 25% and will help me meet my basic needs much easier.My future plans is to open two more branches in different centers and create employment .
