I am 30 years old, married and mother of three children. I am a breeder, because where I live, there is a strong demand.

My Business

I would like to get a loan in order to increase my herd and also because the risk in this business is very low and there is no loss. I started with 3 sheep and now I own 15. I am able to pay rent, electricity, internet and my employees every month with no problems.
The essence of my business is solely the sale of rams that are very sought-after during festivals and religious ceremonies (Tabaski, baptisms, etc.) The sheep feces fertilize my fields and increase the yield of my crops. I spend less and less time buying fertilizers and the effects of the manure on crops like millet, peanuts and niébé are obvious. Customers prefer rams that have been fattened (Kharu yar) versus nomad sheep which are very tired from long trips to seek pastures.
