Halo, am Joyce Wangui Boro aged 41years single Kenyan woman living and working in Nakuru County. I run a small bureau (typesetting, photocopying, binding, lamination scanning and design) in Nakuru Town (along Kenyatta Avenue off Kenyatta Lane- opposite Highway Towers) Samdan Complex.
I ventured into the business after losing my job during the 2008 clashes. Interest got the best of me and I joined my cousin who was then running a cyber café; funny enough at the same Samdan Complex where I have my business. It was a challenge using the computer, but due to eagerness and interest I conquered and landed myself an intern with her (my cousin). Two years later I opened a shop opposite hers with only a desktop computer. I would get typing jobs, but my cousin would do the printing. I got jealous in a good way and borrowed my Brother Obadiah some cash that helped me acquire my first printer.
The business has growth gradually with ups and down and this far I would say that God has been faithful because i have been able to acquire almost all the machines required to run a bureau. Due to the high competition of business here in Nakuru town, it’s becoming quite challenging to sustain a job better as one would desire, and so it calls for one to think outside the box; hence my hope and trust that ZIDISHA FRATERNITY loan will help me to go an extra mile through buying of more computers that will help change my business into a CYBER CAFÉ since I only have one computer and of course am sure I will be able to create more job opportunity because i will then need an assistant.
With Regards,
Once again am grateful to you my lenders for your continued support as far as my financial achievements are concerned. I appreciate that you have given me enough time to repay my loan and now that am almost through, i wish to request for a new loan. I have refurbished my new shop as you can see from the pictures located just a meter away from the old shop and this building is called HIGHWAY TOWERS along nakuru Eldoret highway from the previous shop Samdan Complex and now i do sell stationeries, no longer a cyber though i have maintained all the rest products like selling mineral water and sweets. I have also introduced selling of air time credit for safaricom, airtel and orange subscribers. Otherwise business wise am doing supa and i hold you credit for that because if you did not help me in the first place, believe you me i would not have achieved this much, so thank you all and may God/ Allah continually bless you. If accorded another chance please i would appreciate offered another loan of may Kshs.50,000/=. I wish to buy an Epson Printer (an A3 Printer) that is going at the moment for exactly the said amount because for now that's what i need the most. By the way i have gained a lot of mileage and i now have a big shop, and guess what, i have also moved to a new building a better one and big in nice, but a fairly high monthly rent but all the same i am managing and i know buying the new epson printer i will be well placed. Dear lenders what do you think? Thank you, i wait patiently to hear from you soon. So long. Thanking you in advance. Joyce
Best wishes!
Am going to continou with publishing more exams and take advantage of the fact schools are on holiday. I will still stock more goddies ( sodas, sweets, mineral water etv) to keep my customers satisfied in that when they get into my cyber cafe, everything else is available without leaving for supermarket for example to but water.
