About Me

I am Juliet Ashiagbor, 36years of age and ghanaian. I have three siblings. i hail from the volta region and stay at Dome pillar two. i hold a first degree in business administration, Accounting. Am also a beadmaker.
Growing up, life was smooth. My parents did all their best to cater for us. Things became a bit difficult after we lose our mum and later dad retired from active service. Being the first born, i had to fend for the family hence my enrollment in bead making . Am enthusiastic about all i do. My joy is seeing others happy.

My Business

In 2021, i started a food business and went on to enroll for a cooking school. Food is a basic need and Ghana is no exception. Food plays a vital role in our gatherings- marriage, funeral and many more. There is a very large market for this business in my country, especially now that lots of people are busier. I sell to individuals, homes and corporate entities.

I own a cosmetics and personal care business, import and consultancy business. The businesses are ran separately one from another.
I typically make between 20% to 40% profit from the cosmetics business. I reinvest my profits back into the business and also cater for the family. My difficulty now is to raise an amount enough to help me purchase more stock due to higher demands. This fund will help me bring the transportation cost down drastically and also stock more goods for customers.

Loan Proposal

The Covid-19 pandemic really shook the world but also gave birth to development of ideas, so I started a food retail business in 2021.
In my country Ghana we serve food as part of our hospitality treats in most our gatherings.
With food being a basic need, it’s also profitable. My meals are sold to people of different works of life, even for corporate events.
I usually make between 20% to 35% profit. I reinvest my profits into the business and also cater for the family. It has been difficult raising a good amount enough to pay for kitchen equipments that can help me meet the increasing demands from my patronizers.
This loan $990 will help me purchase bigger cooking pots costing $590 and Oven $400. I will repay this loan from sales from my business and other sources.
Thanks for considering my loan proposal. This will help me meet increasing demands and also give employment opportunities to people in my community.
