About Me

I am a college graduate but have not so far secured a job. With the increase in Internet services demand, coupled with my passion for writing and adept skills, I chose to work on-line in the meantime. I am an on-line article writer. I write web content as a copywriter. I get work form clients through on-line forums such as O-desk. I started out without a computer and was utilizing a commercial Cyber Cafe, which is a bit expensive. With a disciplined saving culture, I managed to purchase a personal computer, and now work at home. I have grown a good worker profile and my client base is constantly growing. I wish to enlighten people who got writing skills but are jobless, about the possibilities on the Internet. To train them and let them work with me on my growing workload, I need an office space with some computers and a strong Internet connection. I currently do not have a financial capacity to do this. My appeal to the potential lenders is to enable me help the jobless but skilled people in my area get significant income through this venture. As a Kenyan, I have the spirit of growth and helping those around me grow together with me. Thank you.

My Business

My business is a service oriented one, where I offer my services as a copy writer and a web freelancer as a virtual assistant, data entry clerk, proofreader and company analyst. These services are in demand due to the growing usage of the Internet. In addition, hiring on-line is becoming cheaper as some operational costs are eliminated. I chose this venture due to a number of reasons. One, I am passionate about writing, and general freelance work. Second, as a freelancer, it saves time that could have been lost in, for instance, traffic jams waiting to get to work. It gives me extra time to spend with my family and friends, thus generate more ideas. Third, it is a vocation with unlimited possibilities. My typical costs includes $30 USD for high speed monthly Internet subscription, $8 USD airtime to keep me connected to with my clients, and about $218USD for family needs and miscellaneous. In a good month, I can make about $400 USD. I use the profits to purchase shares in start-up companies, self improvement like buying motivational books, donate to charity, among others. With the proposed business plan, I can even tripple the figures or even make it tens of times...by outsourcing some work to the people that I will have trained. An office environment may also tend to make one more serious and committed, despite being a freelancer. I will appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.

Loan Proposal

Given the 100 USD or more loan, I plan to buy office equipment to take my online writing services to the next level. I have a growing client base, and I need to train graduates who have not secured jobs so that they can join me. To do this, I need a writing center, with a minimum of seven machines. . The total cost of of setting up the center is estimated to be 1600 USD. This may not be possible as a first time applicant, but I will buy items that I can and buy the others gradually with bigger loans and my savings. This can increase my profit in the margins between 500-750 USD, when the center is fully set up. It will also create jobs for the fresh graduates who will be willing to spend a few hours of their time writing articles and websites content, and other data entry work.
