About Me

I was born in Roadblock village of Eldoret North,Uasin Gishu County 25 years ago.I grew up with a vision and greater ambitions of becoming a lawyer so as i advocate and lobby for the disadvantage in our society as a country as well as Africa. But wait, what happen to this great dream?.I started my primary education and completed my class eight with a certificate of kenya primary school education.(KCPE).In 2007,I join a local secondary school where i worked both hard and smart so as tl realize my dream of becoming a lawyer. In 2010 I completed my secondary school and passed with a mean grade of B(plain) but could not join university due to financial constraints.Instead I decided to become an entreprenuer doing a business of selling polythene bags in Eldoret market. After two years of saving,Ihad enough to start my own Glossary in Edoret, where i sell fruits and vegetables.

My Business

As I have fore mentioned already in my profile,I currently sell fruits and vegetables (glossary).Currently Eldoret town being the headquarters of Uasin Gishu County. This has attracted many people into the town who engage in various activities and at the end of the day they pass through my kiosk to buy some fruits and vegetables. This has made it worthwhile to sell my vegetables at a friendly prices which makes them to go faster. After restocking my business using the 1st loan I secured from Zidisha my current business is worth 150 dollars. This has given me morale even to expand further my business since am currently competing favorably in the market economy. And in that I say thanks to zidisha for the great financial support you gave me.To speak I have made a net profit of 130 dollars within my five months of operation after I received my first loan. I anticipate that these will grow up to at least 160 dollars profit. The profit obtained I have been using it to support my siblings and this anticipated profit I will continue to dive support to my siblings and pay university fees next year to do a business course.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders as underscored above , I have some savings from my current business of glossary. That I restocked using the first loan I secured from zidisha.
I therefore need to erect my on market stall. This is after the county government of Uasin Gishu gave us space to erect stalls and carry out our businesses from there.Previously I have been paying rent of 15dollars per month since I had hired a stall to carry out my business. But through the county government I will be paying a trade license of 25dollars a year. This will enable me to save over 150 dollars a year. And if so this will enable me to expand my business even further. Therefore all the monies raised here, I will add to the savings I have so that I can erect immobile market stall. As I have indicated already this will save me over 150 dollars that I have been paying as rent.
From what I am anticipating after erecting my own stall,I can get a profit of up 150 dollars a month.
In a nutshell, all the 193 dollars that I will raise here will go towards erecting a market stall. Kindly help me achieve it.
