About Me

I am a 20 year old Kenyan college girl.
I was born in Kadenge, Siaya county and went to school in Barchando Girls Secondary School.
I am now a first year college student at Kisumu National Polytechnic where I study social work.
When not in school, I help with my mum's chips business.
I was raised by a widowed mother and so I was introduced to business early because that's what paid my fees.

My Business

I work at a small chips shop. We sell sodas and also fresh juice and fruits.
The business is located near Dominion Farms. It provides us with customers (workers) who buy chips and sodas for lunch.
Not so many people engage in this business, so we have enough customers.
We buy a sack of potatoes at 2800 which we sell at 4000 within a week after making chips. We buy a crate of sodas at 1080 which we sell at 1400 and we buy and sell 3 crates daily.
The profits are used for our upkeep and my school fees

Loan Proposal

I wish to request a loan of 270dollars to pay my Cat exams at the beginning of next month.
200dollars will pay for the cat and 70 dollars will help me buy books and study materials
It will enable me pay for exams early enough so as not to miss the exams.
Our business will not be strained because I will have a chance to pay flexibly
Looking foward to raising this loan to help me with my school.
