About Me

My name is Naomi chepchirchir, I was born in 1994. I come from a family of 3 siblings being the last born. Im currently in a local university here in kenya called Multimedia university. My home is Eldoret at a village called Ngeria juction. Since I joined university things were not looking up financially and i had to device a way to maintain myself while in school since my parents are not well off and so i decided to venture into a business that would strive in the immediate surrounding and selling clothes appeared to be the most appropriate.

My Business

I sell clothes since it appeared to be the most appropriate business due to immediate population of students who like to be looking trendy and on time with the current emerging fashions. Im currently doing ladies clothes and pullovers. My daily sells are averagely $50. I intended to do both male and ladies clothes but due to financial constraints i haven't been able to accomplish that since what i get from the shop has to support me and also maintain the stock in my shop. My aim is to expand my cloth line venturing into much more varieties of clothes making it a one stop shop for all ages and sexes.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to expand my clothe-line since I'm currently doing only ladies, With the loan I will buy gents clothes at the cost of ksh 11000 around $140. I'm currently doing only ladies clothes but my intention has always been to do both men and ladies clothes but due to financial constraints I haven't been able to expand to other clothes. With the loan I will be able to start selling Mens' clothes which are on high demand due to the high population of students. I will repay the loan from my earnings from the shop which is already running and the earnings are expected to be doubled once the loan is injected to the shop. I will buy trendy trousers at a cost of $80, Tshirts at a cost $30, Shirts at a cost of $30 and under wears at a cost of $20. This will bring my shop to something close to a one stop shop to the students and the neighbouring community, something that I have always dreamt of for quite some time but I havent acheived due to lack of enough capital to make dream a reality.
