About Me

I am a Kenyan citizen from a family of 7 children (3 girls and 4 boys), am the second born child to Mr. and Mrs. Boniface Kalama currently living and working in Mtwapa - Kilifi County. am married to Mr. Jimmy Musembi from Mariakani and with him i have one child - Michael Muthami. i attended Shimo -la- tewa primary school and later joined St. Teresa secondary school for my secondary education. it was at TEAAC that i received my diploma in aeronautical engineering after studying for 3 years. i currently work for MAF-Kenya as a technical records personnel.

My Business

After getting my first baby, my expenses went up, I had to get a house-help - because am a full time employee - plus relative and friends come visiting once in a while to see the baby. My monthly expenditure kept on going up, but unfortunately my salary did not go up in the same proportion. I decided it is time to start a business to supplement my salary. I thought of starting a business which I can manage with the little time I have - that is when am not at work, and something that is not perishable and not bulky - that can fit well in my house without necessarily having to rent a place - I decided to start selling polythene bags. I have a business Idea!!!! I even have orders..!!! where do I get the capital?? I approached a friend of mine to help me raise the capital....and guess what??? she introduced me to ZIDISHA, what perfect timing??!!
I intend to repay the loan that ZIDISHA will avail to me using my salary until the business starts earning enough profit to sustain itself. I have my trust on ZIDISHA to make my dream of starting my own business a reality.

Loan Proposal

when I got my second loan I wanted to employ someone to help me out. but the demand was to high that I had to invest all the money in increasing the stock. the demand is really increasing and am always expected to deliver polythene bags when am at work. I therefore need to employ someone who will be able to deliver when am work. I will use part of the loan to increase stock and part of it for two month salary for my employee as I await the business to start paying for the salary.

Am reducing my weekly installment from 300 to 100 Kenya shillings so that I can make on time repayments until my business is stable enough.

I really appreciate the contribution that my lenders have put in to ensure that my loan is fully funded.
i will use the loan to increase my stock. the loan will not be enough to rent out a place and hire someone... so i will try my best to pay the loan in the shortest time possible so that i can apply for a larger amount.
May God bless my lenders. Thank you.

A big thank you to my lenders for financing my first loan and helping me achieve my dream of starting my polythene selling business. The business has picked up, I have many orders that I can not handle from my place and alone. I have successfully managed to fully repay the first loan and I now request my lenders to fund my second loan.

i have a good friend whose wife was involved in a road accident, she sustained major injuries that required immediate surgery, the surgery was not to be done until he pays a down payment of 200,000. (two hundred thousand) shillings at that time he had used up all his money and he could only afford to raise a maximum of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) shillings, we tried asking friend for help in raising the funds but we only raised 20,000 (twenty thousand).
we also did a small fund raising and raised 50,000 (fifty thousand) shillings.
he had exhausted all options of raising the fund, so i had to chip in and add the remaining amount.
that happened yesterday. so now i do not have enough money to continue with my initial repayment schedule.
