About Me

Hi,my name is Henry.I hail from eastern side of kenya.After high school i started business.How i started?I become a middle man between the frech pea farmers and the buyers.I took money from the buyers who trusted me at first place buy the french peas from farmers at a commission which was making good money every monday and friday.Everyday i could raise £6-7 dollars in KES l.e6000-700KES.I saved for a year that when i moved to Isiolo and started business an eletronic shop together with a video show .I have been running the two since 2009 .I plough back some of the profits to the business which is gradually growing.Of late i am a student at Nairobi university studying i use the money i make from ma two businesses.Where i live people love culture of farming keeping livestock growing crops .Food is readly available in our area and recently ventured in groceries business which is thriving well in the semiarid ISIOLO area.I have a single kid who joined babyclass this year aspiring to be a great business lady in future.During ma free time i like reading inspirational books ,watch football matches or spend time with ma lovely family

My Business

I run a video show plus eletronic shop.For the case of video show it requires little operation cost with high returns .How this work i purchase movie disks at less than £1 and show it at ma cinema hall and make atleast £10-20 per night so per month i cam raise £300-600.I small economy people like going to cinema halls which charge economicall compared to other entertainment joints like bars or clubs.
For eletronic shop everday you will get buying electronics for varying reasons.Maybe discarding old and getting new ones,also change of technology can trigger new purchases therefore my stock run fast.Every month i raise £600-700 depending on good month or bad month.
I do have expenses i pay rent for my businesses premises which total£250 plus other expenses can total £300.The profit i make i plough it back to both businesses and other i pay for my college fees

I have a budget of $320
$200 for purchasing more chicks(layers) each@$2
$80 to purchase the chicks mash i.e the feeds
and the remaining $40 i will use for labour.I have 100 layers chicken where i raise 100eggs daily from this i get a net profit of$70 per month with increasing no.of chicken i will increase the profit by $70 totalling $140.
This will help me in payinv my tuition fees for college and also for my kid
