About Me

I was born in a family of five as the first born,I went to primary school through Collage,I din't go to a nice Collage because of school fees and my siblings,After collage i started a church with the principle that i would not get any money from it but support it,i lost all my friend , but now people who are joining us are growing in many ways, in business I started farming when i was very young and was inspired by my Grandfather,I raised chicken which paid my school fees, and had some left for my pocket money,Because of the passion in farming ,I live in a culture where people depend on farming ,but the don't do it smart, and i want to be a solution and let them know and see that farming is business, not just a way of life.

My Business

After venturing into mixed farming afew years ago I can see the fruits of my labor. I started with poultry the moved to dairy cows, and all this has been through Zidisha. Now I have 500 layers and another 250 chicks to replace the layers once they are old in the next six months. I then bought some. Dairy cows venturing into production of milk I have three and four haifers and thee bulls. From these. I am able to pay school fees and support my family and the less fortunate in the community. This loan iam applying today I want to raise ten young bulls for butcher at the end of the year a will be buying them for seven thousand fatten them and sale the after a year for 40k.my strategy is for the current project the chickens and cow pay for the bulls. From which I plan to buy land at the end of the year after selling them and borrowing another loan. Thanks Zidisha.

Loan Proposal

With loan I want to expand my dairy structure to accommodate four more dairy cows and their calves. I will buy roofing sheet@10k timber @5kcement@8k sand and gravel @10 for the floor. I will also build feeding trough at a cost of 5k. I plan on building a storage structure 45k for feed, equipment, livestock medicine.

Thank you so much for what you are doing to the community. I started with livestock which has done so well and now I am moving towards textile which is untapped market here in Eldoret Kenya according to the survey I have made.
With this I hope to contribute to the society.

I wish to thank all our lenders and Zidisha team. The loan that I took and just completed last month I was able to buy young bulls that I have been raising, through my other project of the dairy cows and chicken I was able to pay the loan and now I am waiting for selling them at the end of the year for a bigger profit. The with the Covid 19 it was very hard with my customers but I have expanded the market and now have a wide market. Thank you lenders.
