About Me

I live in Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I am named Ernestina Timaa of House Number SE/334 in the Berekum Municipality. I have six siblings and I am the second born of my parents. I had my Junior High School at Berekum R/C “A” and feather at Berekum Senior High School (BESS). I have my own headdresser shop, also in Berekum Municipality. Reading, cooking and playing ludo are my hobbies.

My Business

I opened my own headdresser shop in the year 2012 with name “IT SHALL BE WELL” in Berekum Municipality after pursuing my Senior High Certificate. My dream was to further my education at the university, but, unfortunately, the amount the university demanded was very huge. So my mother took me to “KEEP ON HEADDRESSER SHOP” to be trained to become a perfect headdresser, because of financial problems we were facing in the first place.

So I just did what my mum wished me to do, and by the grace of God, I am now a perfect/master in headresser. I have five (5) apprentices who are learning from me what I learnt somewhere in Berekum. Every hairstyle has its price and the lower of the price costs $12 and where my shop is very well known, so it’s patronizing as well. I also sell hairs, including Brazilian hair, Obaasima hair and Super star in my IT SHALL BE WELL shop.

If the things goes well for me, I will further my education, because education is my perfect dream.

Loan Proposal

Nowadays, every woman needs their hairs to be beauty, shine, and bright, so they always buy a hair to mix by their natural once. My community peoples always hired a car to dress their hair. So from the day my shop established till now, I haven’t seen any single person hiring a car to dress their hair. So that kicked my heart to establish the shop in my own community, because, a car fair is not easy at all. My business is booming as well, so I need to add Hairs, Hair drier, cream, and any other equipment to support my business and even my shop need to renovate, but my amount can’t do all this and to support my mother in financially. That’s why I am pleading to Zidisha and Lender to come in my aid and support me to expand my business. I will always abide by the rules and regulations governing Zidisha. Thank you.
