Myname is Kelvin Kamau,i was born in 1989 in a village called Kamahuha in Muranga county, and went to makuyu By Grace academy, where i completed my class eight ,passed and got a chance to attend my high school at Naaro high school in the year 2004.i schooled at the school for 4 years and in 2007,i got a KCSE certificate and managed to get a mean grade B.It is then that my parents offered to take me to college at Thika Technical Training Institute to persue a diploma in electrical engineering.in 2011, i got a short term job with KPLC, worked as a contract worker for two months and later started a business, where i sell electronics and give electrical services upto date, and now own a furniture store.
As an electrical engineer, I have been able to raise capital through zidisha funding and profit from electrical shop. I have expanded and started a business in making furniture which is a profitable business. I have employed three carpenters who have enabled me grow and have a profitable business. I intend to expand my furniture business once am awarded this loan, .
I intend to expand my furniture shop by renting some more space. The space is much essential at this time because most of my customers need to see variety, and I lack enough area to display all that is needed for them. After I have acquired the space which is approximately 30 by 30 feet , it will be enough to display more furniture and stock. The space will also be enough to accommodate more labour force. With this added advantage, I will be able to realize more profits and get to repay the loan at ease. Thanks.
