About Me

My name is Jane Mwihaki Rungarara. I am 32 years old. I live in Mombasa with a husband and two kids. I quitted my job so that I could take care of my son who had problems with his spine. I was employed at radio Africa Group of Companies as their administrative assistant. I am currently employed at the same capacity at Gitutho Architect and planners for the last one month. I was born and brought in in Burnt Forest a small village in Rift valley county. I worked hard in school and I was the best girl in Nyandarua county KCPE. I want my children to achieve all their goals when they grow up. I love watching football and cartoons when I am free.

My Business

My business entails selling fresh juice. I started my business about 1 year ago. The juice have been in demand because people have changed their opinion about chemicalised juices and prefer the fresh ones. Also the place where I live i.e in Mombasa its very hot. It costs me around 250/= to make 5ltrs of Juice which if I sell in wholesale its about 400/= and if I sell in small quantities its around 300/=
I normally use the profits to reinvest back in the business and some I also spend on my children and buy food stuff for the house.

Loan Proposal

I plan to buy a bigger blender than the one I currently have so that it will take me shorter time to blend. I also plan to buy a set of plastic cups with top cover to make the juice more hygienic and fancy. This will reduce the amount of money spend on buying bottles, washing them and storing them too. Blender will cost me ~$30 and the plastic cups will cost me around $5. The rest of the amount which is around $ $15 I can reinvest in the business by adding more stock and variety.

The groceries have picked up quiet well and I hope to increase my payments even higher and also make sure that the repayment is done on time. The fruits are also selling well and I also hope this goes on like this so that I can finish making the payments and even applying for a bigger loan. Thank you so much Zidisha

I temporarily had to stop working to take care of my sick relative upcountry but I will resume my work by next week and I hopefully will resume my payments as soon as I can. I am sorry for the silence but there was no internet where I was.

The blender is amazing. I am doing my work with less time hence more time to make my sales. The sales have almost doubled in days and I can be able to even pay the loan sooner
