About Me

I am 49 years old married to one wife with 3 children, the eldest daughter is in the final year high school .The second born and last one are boys and are in primary school.
I am a pastor in Citadel of praise church in Eldoret Kenya and also am a business man together with my wife .
I live in a slum estate known as Kamukunji in old Uganda road stage 4 next to Gituro quarry ,you turn to the lest side and their is our plot .The owner is Mr. David N. Wainaina plot number is 16/528/001
I am a high school drop out that is form 4 level in kenya.
I started this grocery business to bust our income to make us able to pay all our bills and use the rest to purchase food and house hold goods.
My hobbies is listening to gospel music and reading the bible and travelling and my free time I go around the estate preaching to people and witnessing to the people about Jesus Christ as the Lord and savior

My Business

My business is grocery in Kamukunji estate of Eldoret .
I started the business two years ago ,my source of the earning from church and also the profit I make from the business.
The goods I sell to my customers are green vegetables ,beans, pears ,rice ,groundnuts, tomatoes, dry fish and all kinds of cereals in my shop .
My customers prefer my business because I am always there to serve them and they never find us closed .
The business is profitable because there is high demand for the products that we are selling to them. The estate is over crowded or densely populated .The risk my business faces is scarcity of products due to long drought and also political instability and ethnicity.
My typical monthly cost of running the business is US$ 120 while Gross profit or income before these expenses is usually approximately US$ 275 .

Loan Proposal

Given the proposed amount of loan I would like to expand my business through increase of new stocks due to demand as follows:-
Stock of imperishable serials beans and maize US Dollars 180
Water melon ,bananas from Mombasa and Kisii respectively U S Dollars 100
Renovation of my business stall US Dollars 52

I would like to promise that given funding I will be able to sell more because 1)-I will be having more stock 2)-Keeping in mind that it is Christmas festive business is always good and even thus for me to succeed in these business I have to do much sales in December since January is low season.
