About Me

I am a young man of 28 years old and first of a family of five to my parents Mr. Torgbo Samuel and Mrs. Fe- Mensa Stella. I live in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I had my basic and secondary education in the Bekwai municipality where my parents are predominantly farmers of cocoa and palm plantation. I attended my secondary college for Visual Art studies and Business studies in the Awudome between 2001-2004 and Oppon Memorial Secondary between 2005-2008 respectively.
I continued my tertiary education to pursue HND in Marketing at the Sunyani Polytechnic. i am currently persuing my Bsc Marketing Distance program with the University of Cape Coast - Sunyani campus in the Brong Ahafo region. Though I have interest in becoming a master holder in Marketing, my passion to utilize the opportunities for rural art development in my country is at a high desire.

My Business

To treasure above all else, I take desire in taking adventure in sales of goods and services. I have been very successful in my current cane business. I appreciate the good returns I made from my personal selling job in the last year.
Considering the durability of cane and bamboo products, I have been able to direct my customer attention to other durable cane and bamboo product such as babies cot, dining table and chairs, wall drops, rocking chair, dressing mirror stand and bamboo bed. I am still working hard on my store room to use as a shop which I shall combine stationary items Due to the majority of Christians and literate in my community I shall also sell the Holy Bible and other books. Due to my skills in sales and marketing, I am able to penetrate through the market as the demand for my goods gradually increases in the market.
PURPOSE OF LOAN AND REPAYMENT
My business is at the growth stage and need to be sustained. I need your support financially to move through to maturity. I am a testimony to how your organization has supported some Ghanaian businesses. The loan will help me pre finance my producers to produce to meet my customers demand. The suppliers of the raw materials only supply their materials upon demand by my producer. I believe the loan will help me support them to have materials always. Considering the demand and the national attention on locally produce goods, I will be able to pay back the loan with interest as schedule.
My vision is to supply the end product of the cane and bamboo material to all part the country by the next two years possibly and profitably.
PROFIT AND SUSTAINABILITY
I have always made profit from my sales. I started without capital but I made profit after a day sales. The sales business is very profitable and can be sustained for the next generation. I will advice my producers with my marketing skills for innovative products to sustain the business. After my first adventure, I have invested some capital and need to invest more to meet the demand to make good returns.

Loan Proposal

I need the loan to prefinace my producer for him to buy the needed raw materials for production of the furniture products. The items includes Cane, Bamboo and Fabric, which cost almost $800.00.
I am promoting business in a local balance whiles creating job for skillful craftmen.
I have a Plan of making $1300.00 equivalent to Ghs5000.00 by December.
This target is achievable looking at the current demand of the local producst in my community.
