About Me

Justina Changwe is my name and am a farmer. I am a single mother and am an orphan. I completed secondary education and before I could be sponsored by my uncle I was staying with I got pregnant and life became very tough for me but by God's am alive and I have started my own farming business.

My Business

After I couldn't go to college and after having a baby, I joined a women's group called Helping Hands. This was a group of women working together in a number of projects to make money and take care of our families. It's most composed of single women and widows.Fortunately some sponsors gave the organisation members pieces of land as empowerment that's how I got my land and started my own business.

Loan Proposal

I have a piece of land which am empowered with and I want to start staying there so that I can be doing farming full-time. What am lacking is finances to help build a small farm house . I need all together about K15000 for building materials so this loan am applying will help me start working on building a small house. Once I move in farming will be much easier for me.

Income Source

I am into village banking with other women in Helping Hands the organisation I belong where we help each other as women. I also do a lot of piece work for some well to do families like baby sitting , laundry and general cleaning.
