About Me

My name is Patrick Wambua Nguku.I was born in Kamanzi Village , Kangundo location in Machakos county-Kenya.I am the second born among eight others.I schooled in Kamanzi primary school and Manyatta secondary school.I was raised by a single mother and went through many challenges including school fees.I left home for the capital city Nairobi where i had part time jobs which were not able to cater for my needs.I later started a small business to distribute cakes .I later become a pastor and started the current business of Green grocers which i am currently involved in.The land in Machakos is very fertile .I have a family which i am also taking care of together with my mum .

My Business

I usually plant maize and beans.I chose this type of business because it is very profitable and in high demand. Our county and country usually requires alot of food through out the year and especially during the dry span.I usually make a profit of 50% to 80% in a given season.I want to be buying more for sale to add to what i am already doing.I intend to use the profits to buy a greater farm and expand the business.

Loan Proposal

I intend to use the loan to prepare the farm for planting. The rains are around the corner and i want the farm to be ready in advance. This effort enables the land to produce more.As a result ,i will be able to harvest more and sell the surplus to my neighbors. I expect to get an increase of 10 percent in profit.
