Life hasn't been easy for me since childhood as I did loose my parents at a young age when I was 4 and 6 year s old thats my father was the first then mom later.I have lived with well wishers who took me in for the better part of my early life but life took a bad turn when all the help was stopped by my guardian he decide to concentrate on his family because he had no more cash to support me and my siblings. This affected my education as I had to resit my kcpe in 2003 because there was no money to take me to high school.I made it,to high school the following year but I later dropped out as it was hard for me,to cop up.I came to Nairobi to look for my sister but ended up looking for construction work I knew all was lost but God heard my prayer thats when I met another friend Reagan who taught me computers after a short while he sponsered me to go back to school in 2011 which I took but it was never easy but God saw me through with a C+ inKCSE 2013 at the age of 25. Reagan saw in me what I couldn't even see myself the brain to grasp in class even after 7 years the last time I touched books my goal was to go to high school and I made it but I had to sit with students younger than me.I was a dad they were not I had to stoop low to fit this made me a laughing stock They laughed at me but I made it through.i made them understand that life is all about giving yourself to what you believe in. Due to my efforts to get educated am the most educated in our family and still want to go far .i still want to go on to university but I cant . Before going back to school I knew I had left a family back my wife and two beautiful kids I need to take care of them.I would want my children to never have to endure what I went through and I can only do that if am financial stable.when am not busy thinking about life I love playing soccer and am also good at it
Am employed with a minimum salary of 260 dollars and this together with my small business I intend to expand and make a bigger impact. This year though it has been hard to make it business wise I managed to get a good performance of my agriculture project of which am waiting to harvest in due time. I shifted to agriculture because it provides a better ready market . Kenya generally consumes maize meal as the most preferred food .The market is vibrant but I intend to store my produce and supply to schools early next year.
I have two acres of land and for a start I would like to divide the amount as follows:
1.I will invest 400 dollars for fresh farming this
will cater for ploughing, seeds, weeding and harvesting.
2.The remaining around 500 dollars will be used to buy a second hand motorcycle 150 cc and upgrade Driving licence to include heavy commercial vehicle .
Farming is necessary as it will ensure food security for my family and others who might need to purchase maize grain for food .This will ensure financial and food secure .
To ensure that am able to attain my goal of repayment of my loan a motorcycle is better place as I will be able to create additional cash to make it easier to complete in time. In addition it's a Better way of spending some of my away from job time.
