I grew up in Kirigu village in Dagoretti South and went to school at Ruthimitu Primary School later i joined Mutuini High School, i passed well and joined Nairobi University for undergradute degree of Bachelor of Commerce degree Finance Option.
My father was retired and so we had to raise school fees from our relatives. My passion and determination to get education made me focused and therefore i overcame hardships i had then. Since farming has been my hobby i decided to venture into small scale farming. I grew up in an area where food is scarce and where people should really get involved in farming. I dont have children at the moment. my other hobby is reading books on technology.
I keep chickens and grow different vegetables for sale. They are a source of food and are a prerequisite to everybody. Every one needs food every day to work and since farming was my hobby thats why i choose this area. My tpical costs include feed for the chickens, vaccination, fertilizers for the crops etc. I reinvest the proceeds to grow my business.
Fertilizers for the different crops that i grow Kes. 2000
Feed rations for my chicken. Kes 2000
Farm equipments. feed trough 5000
It will grow my business exponentially and provide temporary employment to others.
I have calculated and realized my profits will go up by 50%.
