About Me

I am 34 years, old an accountant by profession with over 10 years of expansive and skillful experience in various industries.

I am married and blessed with two girls.2020 has been a tough year due to the COVID 19 PANDEMIC jobs have been greatly affected with employees either getting salary cuts or loosing their jobs altogether. This has made me think of other ways of supplementing my income to assist in staying afloat.

So far I have tried a few ventures but with not much success but am I am positive and choose to remain focused (Follow, one, course until successful) in farming and selling onions.

Your assistance has always been very helpful and I hope you will walk with me in my venture to financial freedom.

My Business

Farming.
I started my farming maize business this year in Kagumo(upcountry) in the year 2019 during the long rain seasons, but unfortunately due to the intensity of the rain the crops were attacked by pests and some damaged and not much was salvaged.

After a few consultations and research I have decided to hire a a piece of land and grow nappier grass since it requires very little maintenance and the availability of ready market at Kagumo(up country). It will require animal manure once a year and harvest between 3 to 4 times a year.

The cost price of hiring rages from kshs.9,000.00 to 12,000.00 per year, maintenance cost per month and manure will cost roughly kshs. 5,000/=,currently I am also retailing onions buying at kshs.30 per kg and selling at kshs. 60 per kg.Per week sales rage from kshs.600/= to kshs.750/=

The loan will enable me carry out the two ventures smoothly and also assist me in meeting my needs and growing my savings.

Your support will be highly appreciated.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used in my farming venture in Kagumo(upcountry) which I began this year during the long rain season with high expectations but the rains were too intense for a good harvest. From October we have the short rains and I would like to continue with the venture.

My venture is managed by my dad who was an accountant but now retired and lives in Kagumo.
My expected costs are as follows;Leased one acre piece of land for one year kshs.9,000.00,land preparation for planting kshs 3,900.00,fertilizer kshs.1,500.00,maize kshs.2,000.00(400*5)
and miscellaneous kshs.5,000.00 to cater for any additional cost during the three month period before harvesting.Total cost kshs.21,400.00

I expect to make get a revenue of between kshs. 30,000.00 to kshs.40,000.00 profits kshs. 8,600.00 to 18,600.00 respectively.

The venture will create employment for those who will be involved in the preparation of the land, planting and weeding.
With the rise of the cost of living the extra money will assist in making investments to aid in my future career advancement and securing the future of my children.
