Hello. My name is Mercy Lembama. I am a nurse by profession and I am also engaged in a business of growing vegetables at my small holding in Choma.
I am married to Bwalya and we have two children, a boy and a girl.
My Business
I was invited to join Zidisha through a friend who is also a farmer based in Lusaka.
At my small holding I plant various types of crops, such as green beans and tomatoes.
I sell the vegetables to supermarkets and shops in my area.
Loan Proposal
I plan to use the loan to purchase feed for the chickens which I am keeping at my farm.
I have prepared the chicken house and I have purchased the chicks, drinkers and feeders.
Income Source
I sell vegetables at my farm and I make good sales of my vegetables.
