About Me

I was born in a humble village of nyajuok in siaya district. I was the third born in a family of eight children. My father was a primary schools teacher while mother was a house wife. With the challenges of fee, I went through primary and secondary education, after which I got married. My husband has Bee of help through my training in teacher's college and special education training. After the training I taught in different schools before starting my own.I like spending time with this unique group of children and also enjoy music, travelling and reading

My Business

I handle children with mental disabilities. Each child is unique in his own way therefore we handle each as an individual using individualized educational programme. We ensure these learners realise their maximum potential though may be different from others. Due to the fact that these learners have mental disabilities, most of them have other handicapping conditions such as health issues like epilepsy, physical challenges like muscular distrophy and micro cephaly, speech and language disorders etc. This means that we have to work hand in hand with other professionals like opticians, ophthalmologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists etc

Loan Proposal

I will buy more utensils needed for the program to be effective. This is because we expect more learners at the beginning of next year. The feeding program usually maintain the learners in school as most of them come from poor families where the next meal is not a sure thing. Most of our parents are also semi illiterate and are not quite informed of balanced diet. The learners need good nutrition for the nourishment of their growing brains. Also taking into account that they also have special needs

due to loss of phone and ups and downs here and there I haven't been very active in my zidisha loans. I have also been detached with the zidisha App. but thanks to God am now back. My learners are doing well and I thank God for them

Up-to now zidisha loans have helped me a great deal. The last loans were used to buy T-shirts and print them out. The T-shirts have enabled the children be uniform. It has also helped in advertising the school thus the promoting the income. The loans are easy to pay with not much stress and is flexible and my lenders have been patient with me even when things were not very well with me

I received the loan with lots of thanks. I printed t-shirts with the loan. This brought a smile upon the faces of my learners as you know everybody especially children like gifts and new things. The t-shirts have also enhanced uniformity and equality among the learners. It's a blessing to me and my school or business as it has helped the sell the name of the school I.e advertising it. Nowonder we have had new admissions lately.it also adds beauty to the school and the children. I would like to thank my lenders and to urge them to keep up the spirit

The loan I was given last helped me with the school feeding program. This is because as of now have managed to buy a few necessary utensils and has got the porridge program running. This has helped me keep the needy children in school. As a motivation to this special group of learners a feel once in a while we should be taking them to fun fairs or for guided swimming lessons. We have a nice and affordable recreational centre in our neighborhood that can come in handy
