About Me

I was born in 1st January 1983 at Riruta Satellite sub-location, Riruta location in Dagoreti constituency, Nairobi. Am the first born from a humble beginning characterized with polygamy and extensiveness in size- 11 in number. Education was the most challenging aspect of my growth, a factor that contributes to my urge of setting up more affordable education centers. Today, am a family man with one daughter, am the one who looks into the future of my generations to come, the outcome of my life.
I live in Utawala Githunguri, suburb of Nairobi. My occupation (teachind and lecturing) is my passion, something that I do to ensure that I produce my best.
I started my education from Silver Beck St. Martin in late 1980s, joined Entarara Primary school in Loitokitok at the shadows of mount Kilimanjaro and with good grades I joined my secondary education at Mashuuru secondary school 1998-2001. From there I managed to join Tororo Progressive Academy for high school education; form 5-6 in the year 2002-2003 and graduated to join Makerere University where I graduated with Bachelors of Education in Economics and History. Besides, I have attained other certificates for computers and sales.
I did start this business after so many hurdles and challenges by employers. Apart from these, I felt my services were exhausted and needed room for much. I taught Manchester High School in Kampala, moved back to Kenya and secured myself a chance at Kenya Medical training College KMTC Loitokitok, transfered to Kilifi, Coast General and called a quit when I was asked again to Garsen in Garissa. Also the experience gained from both Uganda and Kenya in teaching for survival facilitated my appetite for having an institution of my own. Challenges and hardships also I had undergone while studying in-culminated me to having an institution that would assist the less privileged since I had to skive classes to look for odd jobs to feed myself and pay the campus fees.
Most of the earnings from my business go back either directly or indirectly since its still in DE-toothing stage, too small to be called an institution and much is required in its expansion. These include: books and stationery, computers and furniture, paying bills and rents among other infrastructural facilities.
The vision and mission of our future are the most intriguing because we need to have permanent infrastructural facilities i.e land, building transport modes and room for expansion and research. With Zidisha bringing the financial services close, I know that my ambition will not only be a dream but a realistic en-devour of future prospects.
I have acquired other loans, paid successfully until when I did get information about the Zidisha' achievements and less percentage charged with which one can be able to plan and pay back without tussles and hustles. A condition that is hard to get in Kenya and Africa
at large.
The need to advertise due to competition and marketing expenditures, poor library and laboratory environment makes us seek more and better financial organization and Zidisha is such an organization.

My Business

My business goes by the name above which it took me more thinking before I could conceptualize in the 2005. Having been born in Kenya, brought up at the border of Kenya and Tanzania and completed my education from Uganda, I got the urge to have an institution that would have no boundaries and go beyond the horizons.
I started by recruiting student from Tanzania since I had started it in the boundaries of Kenya and Tanzania. Due to inefficiency, insufficiency of students and lack of registration, the circumstance forced me to close down and re-locate to Ngong at the wrong time when the government was shutting down unregistered institutions in the year 2008. I pulled strong and started with process, the government acknowledged the name and gave me the go ahead in 2009.
Due to poor financial stability, I moved it to a suburb where life was not very expensive like in Ngong which neighbors the Karen Blixen estate making life very unaffordable for small part timers. Today, we have been able to plant roots here in Ruai along Kangundo road.
We offer our affordable services ranging from certificates, Diploma and advanced Diploma in Accounts, Business Administration and Management, Computer packages, Community Development, Customer Service, Public Relations, Purchasing Supply, Supply Chain Management, Social Work, I.T, I.C.T Tourism among others.
The demand for this services is inevitable due to less and poor colleges amidst the never ending population and besides we do charge in consideration of the less fortunate, by giving back to community.
As if its not enough, we give survival projects to our less fortunate students where they are able to raise money to cater for their daily needs. Quality also is of the essence when it come to our client since we put much into consideration; time, energy, need, blessings and commitment.
have been able to maintain my customers to the after sale service by those who either have completed from this institution or those have ever heard about us. The standard we try to achieve despite these hardship is understandable through interaction of both I, my staffs and the under graduands. The sacrifice I have gone ahead to achieve is undisputed by many and thus gives this institution a privilege above all other colleges.
The location also has given a hand to more preference because the radius is well covered. Above all, hard work that we undergo while marketing makes everyone prefer us because recognition is not just longed, its created.
The risks this business faces are poor financial stability, competition and lack of required facility increased expenditures in terms of salaries and rents that can kill the business if not well managed.
During February, March, April to May, we can term this period as the most productive. Other months are low season due to less availability of clients and customer related factors.

There are a million and one benefits, the major one being financial stability. Our pig project is an Income Generating Activity to finance the college (East African College of Technology) during times of hardships. That guarantees on salaries and wages to both me and the employees.
