I am 41years old married with two children, one in form one and the other in Mt. Kenya university. Am a resident of Bahati, in Nakuru where we reside together with my family and do farming and rearing of chicken as my business.THE OFFICIAL WHO CAN ACT AS MY REFEREE IS MR. JOSEPH GACHOKA MWANIKI WHO IS AN ELDER OF OUR AREA HIS CELL IS 0721 787708.i reside at Bahati centre a few metres to stage
Currently I have 200 layers consuming two bags of layers mash per week, @ Kshs. 2600 per bag, giving a total cost of Kshs. 10,400 per month and a medical attention of Kshs. 300 per month. During the month the layers will have laid an average of 168 trays of eggs. This eggs sold at a wholesale price of Kshs. 240 will give a total amount of Kshs.40, 320. If you less the cost of rearing during the month, this will gives a good profit.
Given this loan I will be able to add my layers chicken project such that I can be able to bring up about 400 layers which will give me double the profit which I can use to pay for my children education.
First am much grateful for this support which you have extended to me seeing that i can now be able to have a much big number of birds for start i begun with 400 and for now i can manage to raise 1000.In a week i manage to sell 30 trays .
Current at the market am buying the feeds with a slight higher in price in comparison to a few past months where by a 90kg of the chick mash is selling at 3050,layers mash 2700 and the growers are selling at 2800.
Am now intending to expand this business which am now used to even to the challenges that comes a long.
Thanks you have brought me this far
