I was born in 1976, 35 years ago in a village named Kimangu, in the Rongai district of the Nakuru county. I began primary school in 1981 at the Kangaprimary school. I continued my schooling until 1988, when I received my primary education cetificate. I was not able to continue going to school because We did not have enough money, so I stayed at home, helping my parents until I got married. Because my husband was not employed, he gave me permission to start a business, so we could support our family. He gave me a little bit of money, which I used to buy some shoes. Today I continue to buy shoes, and I have a good stock that attracts many customers. We have been blessed with two children, and we are very happy. I am living in Salgaa, about 5km away from the town of Rongai, in plot no. 38.
As I have already said, I started my shoe business 10 years ago in Salgaa centre. I love my business, and although there is a lot of competition, I keep my customers happy by giving them what they want. This business is good because you can't find a person going bear foot. The business helps us support our family financially.
First, I would like to thank everyone who lent me money. I really appreciate it, and may God bless you.
I would now like a second loan which will be used as follows:
1. K.E.S. 80,000 will be used to purchase new model shoes, as this is what the young generation in my area wants.
2. K.E.S. 30,000 will be used to expand my shop, enabling customers to walk freely, without bumping into eachother. I want my business to be available for every customer to select his or her items.
3. K.E.S.10,000 will be used to pay the insurance company, in case of theft or fire.
4. K.E.S.10,000 will be used to purchase one bale of socks, so that when customers buy shoes, they won't need to go to another shop to look for socks.
This will make my shop more attractive to customers, because if someone needs socks and shoes, they are both available.
