About Me
My name is Chiozya Mwanza. I am a fish farmer from Mundulundulu village, Siavonga district, in the southern part of Zambia. Siavonga is home to Lake Kariba, the largest man-made lake in the world.
The farm is located on the shores of Lake Kariba and we grow Nile Tilapia in floating fish cages on the lake. We also catch Crayfish for sale to upmarket restaurants, lodges and hotels.
I am married and we are proud parents to four beautiful children.
My Business
My business is selling fresh farmed and wild fish, crabs and Crayfish to up market restaurants, lodges and hotels in the resort town of Siavonga and in the capital Lusaka.
I catch the wild fish, crabs and Crayfish from Lake Kariba and sell it fresh to customers. I have also exported fish and Crayfish to South Africa.
Loan Proposal
I plan to use the loan to buy more fish from local fishermen who work close to my farm.
I will supply the fish to lodges and restaurants in the large towns.
The money for the fish helps to sustain local fishing communities and it makes me happy to see the impact that our business is doing to help improve people's lives.

The fish business is doing well because people have realised the benefits of eating healthy fresh fish.
