About Me

I grew up in a community where farming was a culture, a way of life, and a source of income.
My late Mother made sure that without tilling the soil, I would go hungry.
I do not have a formal education in Agriculture but I have ample knowledge backed up with years of experience.
Curtailing the current situation going on around the world right now, I have decided to use my knowledge and experience to make the better of my world.

My Business

I want to restart my Mother's fish farm.
It comprises of 7 medium size tanks, with a capacity of 50 fish each.
The purpose is to provide food for the family and also as a business to generate funds.

Project Proposal

The funds raised will be used to:
1. Buy fish feed.
2. Buy generator fuel to power water pump for circulating water in fish tank.
3. Maintenance of generator and tank plumbing.

I am going to start with the fish tank plumbing maintenance after which
I'll buy a 100 fingerlings and a full bag of feeds.
They will take 4 months to grow into kitchen size and 6 months to get a good market size fish.
I am also going to buy fuel to power the borehole for water supply.
I so excited and lost for words.
I want to thank you Joseph Mugo Cecilia for being my light at the end of the tunnel.
    God bless you both.

Murphy has been using a makeshift bowl to eat and her carpet is torn to shreds due to old age. With this loan am going to buy a new carpet and a proper bowl for her to eat with and some dog treats on the side.
Words are not enough to express how grateful I am to Zidisha lenders and her entire community for coming into my life.
    Thank you all so much.
