About Me

Hi lenders.
I am Carolyne Musyoki a Kenyan citizen by birth. I am 36 years old. I have been raised up in a big family of 13 children. My parents have been doing small scale farming till now and they were able to educate us to different levels.
I have gone through primary education all through to university level and I have a bachelor's degree in Agricultural economics and resource management and a master's degree in Fisheries resource management.
I have been applying for jobs and have not gotten a chance yet so I have been doing business for sometime now. My first business was selling cosmetics and beauty products and have also reared chicken and fish. Currently I am involved in Supplies business were I have a company which is registered. The supplies business is good for me but I have been facing challenges like lack of good capital and delays in payment. My major goal and dream is to see my company grow big to be an international company which will give job opportunities to young people who are jobless. I would also love to see myself being able to sufficiently provide for my family, my parents and give back to the society.

My Business

I have had several businesses but now I am doing general supplies were I have a company registered and in the special group category of youth. My company is 4 years old and it has been growing slowly due lack of capital. The products which I deal with include:
General office stationary
Fresh vegetables.
Cereals.
Electronics.
Hardware materials
Printing services.
I do not have a place to stock either of the product I supply but I source them from wholesalers when I get the orders. I love doing this business more than any other I have done in the past because I see a bright future through it for myself and others. At the moment I have gotten tenders to supply vegetables and stationary materials and the lack of enough capital has been a major challenge. I am sure that if I get financing I will be able to do more for myself and others who are in need.

Loan Proposal

I will use this loan to buy materials for constructing suspended fish pond, to stock and maintain the fish. I will be selling my Tilapia at 1kg which takes 4 months to attain this weight. Currently a kg of tilapia costs $3.75-5. I pursuing my masters in Fisheries resource Management I have adequate knowledge on fish farming and would wish to maximize the space in my compound. Fish farming promotes food sustainability. Funding this project will not only benefit me from the income it will generate, but also create employment since I will employ someone to be monitoring and feeding the fish. I wish to thank all my lenders. I commit myself to make my repayments timely so that it can be used to fund other needy people with noble ideas.
