I was born in Bondo Constituency. I am the last born in a family of three. I went to Bondo primary school and then proceeded to Nyamonye girls Secondary school where I finished my form four. Thereafter I went to stay with my uncle because I could not afford to go to college. While staying with my uncle I managed to do some casual jobs that helped me sustain my life. I met my husband in 1995 and we have been blessed with 4 kids. In 2006, I got a cleaning job where I worked for 3years and then decided to start my own business in 2010.
I started my business in the year 2010 this was after trying to think of what to do because employment in Kenya is rare. I was born where there is a lake in which people get involved in fishing easily ,that’s why I thought it could be good for me to venture into fish monger.i have 4 children my firstborn daughter would like to be a nurse and my second born daughter would like to be a teacher , n my first born son would like to be an accountant ,and my last born son is still young. This business really helps a lot because it pays my kids school fees and the up keep of my family. My hobby is swimming. I supply fish to people. Because people need to eat everyday and majority don't take red meat and take fish. I chose this type of business because its in demand and I get money daily for my upkeep. I pay my revenue easily because its not that expensive. If I get this I would like to buy a refrigerator for preserving this fish and also to add my stock, to provide my service
For the benefit of my business I want to purchase a refrigerator because I have been making loss because due to lack of good preservation machine. This will help me keep my fish fresh for a longer time and also help me have a good stock at any given time that will in turn increase my customer base as they will be always getting fresh fish which will mean more and better profit for me.
