I am a Kenyan citizen born in Mt Elgon Kenya. Through Hard work, I have managed to achieve the highest level of education at a young age. I am passionate about farming since childhood. In whatever I do, I always aim to be a role model to others.
I decided to venture into farming after realizing that formal employment was limiting my potential to grow. I have a farm and mainly focus on horticultural products. It has been raining in my area in last few weeks. Th unusual rainfall extended into January and February has boasted this year's production expected. I need to put fertilizer on my banana farm to improve on the production
January is a dry month, and hence need to buy and stock feed for my dairy animals. With my two dairy cows, the amount should be enough to enable me access to feed that as the dry season approaches, its demand will be high and also very expensive. Therefore the need to put adequate and sufficient measures to ensure enough fodder is available for the animals.
It will be possible to sell products from my banana farm and also milk from my dairy cows. Given that the bananas have almost ready for harvest, the dry weather would not affect them. In addition, with enough feed and water made availability, the dairy cows should be able to survive through the dry climate before the next rainfall season
