About Me

I was born 48 years ago in Uholo Village,Ugunnja division in Siaya Count to Mr & Mrs Andrew and Jerusha. I am the first born in a family of ten,six boys and for girls. I am born again and serving and serving as an evangelist without pay. My mom passed on nearly thirty years ago when I was still a teenager. This made my life so difficult that I had to put my hands in trying to do every small scale business without great success due to lack of adequate investment capital. I started baking cakes for myself and my siblings just to try to see if it could work out well. I later settled for this business which has helped me a lot in my life. I have also been helping people to prepare food meals from one house to another in and around our estate as I have passion for cooking too. This has also helped me to save some little money that has allowed me to buy some few cooking and serving utensils which I have used to open a small food kiosk mostly serving breakfast and lunch to the Strathmore University students in Madaraka Estate in Nairobi Kenya.Raising enough capital to boost my business has not been easy as it takes too long as I only depend on the small profit that I save here and there. I love cooking and baking so much that I sometimes think they are my hobbies, I also like playing guitar when I have some free time. My absolute joy is in giving and taking care of those who are in need.

My Business

I run a food kiosk that provide readily available prepared breakfast and lunch meals to the students from Strathmore University in Madaraka estate in Nairobi-Kenya and it's environs. I occasionally bake cakes for weddings, birthdays and cooperate functions. I have chosen to do this business as food forms the greater part of everyone's basic need whether you are rich or poor and this makes the market always available as long as your price is reasonable. The fact that I love cooking and baking also makes me enjoy this business so much. This business doesn't give so much profit but it helps me to pay for my house rent, school fees to some people I am taking care of and I still remain with some little cash to reinvest into the business.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to boost my business by buying more cooking and serving utensils. I will also increase my sitting capacity by buying more chairs as I am looking forward to growing up into a restaurant. I will also use the money to restock my food store with non perishable food like beans, green grams(lentils),rice, cooking oil, wheat flour and add two more cooking gas cylinders. I am also planning to buy a utility truck in future to help me in my outside catering work.
