Duo Stephen Neka was born in the year 1981 in the County of Tana River in the Coast al area of Kenya. I started school at idsowe primary school the at tarasaa secondary school. I dropped out of school while in form two due to lack of school fees. i am now a farmer here at Kipini town.
I have a passion in farming, I realize the family farm was lying ideal and i decided to take the opportunity to till it since i was jobless. i now make good earnings from the farm as i also contribute in provision of food to the community. at kipini is where the river tana meets the Indian ocean and it makes a nice and memorable scenery. i want my children to be either nurse or teacher because i see these professions to be marketable. i like playing soccer during my free time.
I do farming. it is an activity that i have started five years ago. i plant watermelons, kales and mangoes that i sell in my area and as far as malindi. i have a passion for farming which contribute to provision of food to my people and i make money for myself. my produce are on high demand both at the village leven and the towns nearby too. i chose this business because i saw the needf for it and i want to be self employed too. i make good earnings from my farming activities that enable me take care of my needs. i use the profit in meeting my needs and in expanding my farm too.

My farming activities are going on well save for few challenges that I still pray you will assist me sort them out.
I need Ksh 8,000 to service my water pump. I like the water pump since it assists me in irrigating my farm from the flowing river tana.
I need Ksh 2,000 to purchase pesticide and some manure to make sure that the crops do well and increase yields.
I have also enrolled myself for a short course in Agriculture at Maziwa youth polytechnic which I am remaining with Ksh 4,000 to clear the fees and sit for the final exams so that to equipt myself with better farming skills for onward improved yields and assistance to my neighbor small scale farmers too.
