About Me

I had a happy childhood with both parents. Went to boarding school for primary and secondary education. I studied Bachelor of Business Administration in college but my interest is in arts and creative work so i decided to learn graphics out of passion that is why i started this business. I used to write calligraphy in my free time and sent to my send to my friends in school. My mom still keeps some of it at home. I still do the same now but at least now it is professional. I love to make gift items for my clients, it makes me happy to put a smile on someone's face. Nairobi is a great place with people from different cultures they love unique artistic or customized work and that is where i come in and make them their customized mugs, cards, water bottle , wristbands and many more. It is my way of life now. I am a hard-worker and determined to succeed in life.

My Business

I do graphic design, branding and general printing. I chose this business because it is on high demand printing is used in any kind of institution, it is also in demand because in this city people love unique and branded pieces of work that may contain their own picture or name. Things in my business move fast selling like hot cake and it is really profitable for me. Doing a logo can fetch up-to 2,000. When i brand one magic mug i spend 400 but i can sell it at 700-1000. I use my profits for inventories & my upkeep. My parents retired and I am always happy to help them with their finances and this business helps do that for them.

Loan Proposal

I want to add some more machines to my business. I need to buy Epson T50 printer which is 300 dollars. The one I was using got old and is not functioning well now. My colleague and I want to buy it together chipping in 50% of the total each that is 150 dollars each then we will share the profits 50/50. I love this printer because it is all purpose in printing photos, ID cards, Envelopes, CDs and DVDs and many more. It will be an added advantage to me because at least this time I'll be sharing the profits this time because I didn't have any ownership on the last one. It will definitely increase my profits by 30%.
I would love to own an A3 size laminator too. The price is 50 dollars. This will also minimize movements for me by doing laminations in the office other than paying for the services. I can also get some profits from brokers who bring lamination work from their clients and when I am doing plastic ID cards on laminates I can use it to seal them too. This will increase my profits by 5%.
