My name is Stanley Karanja Macharia. I was born and brought up in Milimani in Nakuru County. I went to Jamhuri Primary School and later St. Joseph Boys Secondary School.

HOW I OVERCAME CHALLENGES
I grew up with a number of challenges that any child living on the outskirts of a cosmopolitan town had. While young, we were not able to interact in good terms with our friends, for we were not allowed to get out. However, this made us more responsible and gave us the ability to deal with loneliness, lack of exposure and dump nature. I have been a selfless person, having come from a cosmopolitan area: hard work and determination has seen me through.
HOW I STARTED MY BUSINESS
I went to Kenya Polytechnic College in the year 2009. I graduated with a Diploma in Accountancy. My school fees payment was not constant, so in most cases I was not in school, as I was looking for money for my upkeep and my school fees. In the year 2011, a friend introduced me to online writing , research and freelance journalism. I used to work at the cyber cafe, looking for online research.
UNIQUENESS OF OUR LAND
Our community is unique in many ways. Being a cosmopolitan place, we live as one community but with many tribes and cultures. We have therefore developed a unique culture and behavior that is exclusive to our area. We are a united community that is welcoming, hospitable and friendly.
DREAMS OF OUR CHILDREN
Like other children, our children develops early dreams of being lawyers, journalists and doctors. Education has made many of our children a success story and also talented.
MY HOBBY
When alone, I like passing my time reading novels and doing a lot of e-learning. I also love music and playing basketball.

SERVICES I OFFER
As an online writer, I offer my services in matters of writing research for people online. I work under a registered online account that assigns me work, which I do and forward to them for verification before sending them back to the clients.
WHY MY SERVICE ARE IN DEMAND
Many people are required by their education system to do research upon or before completion of their studies. They therefore look for people who can do the work on their behalf. I have taken up the task of being an online writer who does extensive research for everyone who has the work. Additionally, I write articles on different topics.
WHY I CHOSE THIS BUSINESS
I love writing and researching, apart from helping people do their academic research. I also get to learn and have expanded knowledge in different fields. I believe in continuous learning for better enlightenment and knowledge expansion.
TYPICAL COST AND REVENUE
I spent close to 200 dollars to set up my business after getting my first earnings. I also have bills to pay, maintenance for my machines, and paying other people who work alongside me.
HOW I USE MY PROFIT
I have seen benefits of my work. I was able to pay my school fees through this work and tried to expand my business. Currently, I use my profit to pay my house rent, bills and even pay school fees for my young siblings.

Loan Proposal

I intend to buy another computer CPU to replace the old one. I will also use the loan to refurbish the business premise. The room needs some ventilation to allow in fresh air and regulate the temperature. The room is too hot and my colleagues complain of inadequate fresh air.
