My name is Edward wanjohi, i grew up in nyandarua county went to St Joseph primary and olkalou secondary in same county we had problems raising school fees and buying uniforms and books but am thankful to God i made it and thats why i have started my own business so that i save little by little for my future my kid too. I was very happy to get a loan from your organization it has really help me grow my business.
I started a new small business of buying fruits and using them to make fresh fruit juice this hot dry season before the rains start. I simply get the fresh fruits from the market blend and cool the juice in a fridge (though not mine), since during the day its becoming very hot so i take advantage of the situation and sell the cold juice since people want something cold that is not water or soda i sell the healthy juice. Besides the fruits i also sell bottled water for those who prefer water to juice. By this i get a little profit that i save for the future.
I intend to buy fresh fruits from farmers directly because its going to be cheaper than buying from the market. After that i take them home where i blend juice put it in clean containers then proceed to the town where I sell to people who stay out in the hot sun for long and since i first put the juice i my friends fridge where i let it get cold for a few hours then take it to the town. For now am getting the fruits from the market where the price is slightly higher but am doing okay.
