I am Grace Mwenya residing in chingola stage 3, I live with my Mother and my 4 siblings. I completed school in 2019 since then I have been doing some businesses to raise money for college I want study nursing. I started selling tomatoes, vegetables like rape ,chiwawa (pumpkin leaves) and kalembula (sweet potato leaves) ,onions and egg plants early last year. My mother capital to start up the business and told be that I had to work hard and be persistent if I needed the business to grow. I followed her advise and didn't misuse the money but ordered a box of tomatoes and a sac of vegetables which I first started selling just outside at our home, then when it started growing my uncle gave me space outside his shop were I sell the tomatoes and vegetables now. I always love to have fresh veggies so I order every morning at chingola market were different farmers come with truck loaded with their fresh farm products for sale. So far my business is doing good and my customers are satisfied with my services.
I buy fresh farm vegetables from chingola market at wholesale price and sell in my neighborhood at retail prices. Vegetables are very nutritious and are needed to complete every meal so they are always on demand. When bought in bulk I then pack them in smaller quantities that will generate how much I spent when buying the vegetables and also the profit. Usually a box of tomatoes I repack in quantities of 4.
I will order more fruits such as apples, oranges, lemons and I will order two boxes of fresh tomatoes and will make sure everything I order is fresh and clean so that people eat and buy healthy food.
I will make sure to work extra hard every morning so that people can buying and I will making sure my place of work is clean so that people can be free to buy and I will be making atlist to knockoff a bit late so that when people knockoff from work they are abel to buy
