About Me

My name is Martin Ngulube. I am a farmer of Lusaka's Makeni farming block.

I worked for many years in the Zambia Railways as a senior Police Officer in Kafue district. I now live on my farm in Makeni area.

My Business

My business is growing and selling vegetables and fish.

I plant different types of crops on my farm, ranging from tomatoes and chillies. I sell these vegetables to marketeers and individuals. I also grow fish in my newly constructed fish ponds. I sell the fish at the markets in Lusaka.

Loan Proposal

I plan to purchase watering equipment for my vegetable garden. These will include a water tank, 40mm x100m polypipes and sprinklers.

My vegetables are close to harvest and they require more water to get them to ripe. When they are ripe, I will sell the vegetables to a local restaurant, which us located close to my place.

I have planted spinach and pumpkin leaves. These vegetables are very popular with the local community and I will make a good profit from the sell of my vegetables.

Income Source

The Health authorities have lifted the ban on people eating at restaurants, so my business is doing well and I am selling my vegetables on a daily basis.

Martin has paid as expected and has communicated well. I would recommend lending to him.
