I was born in Kiambu county but my parents moved to Nyandarua thats where i started my school until i finished my O level.Afterward i joined a college to do business management in nairobi .Afterwards i was unable to secure a job so i went back home to assist my parents in farming.after a year i needed to do something so i was offered a job as a caretaker in Ngong and since i was provided with accommodation ,i was able to start saving part of my salary to start a small business of my own.My employer offered me a place just outside the flat to set up a green grocer stand and thats how i started.
Apart from been a caretaker,i managed to open a green grocer just outside the flat were i stay and since its just next to main road,it did not take long before i started receiving clients. My future goals are to open a chain store of fresh groceries and with the help of zidisha and having seen how it has helped many make their dream come true, its my prayer too i will be considered to be one of the beneficiary too.
Having been in the business for almost 2 years now,I have had some challenges in meeting customers demand.with this loan am going to get,it will enable me to add the following,
1.Mangoes buying at 15kes per peace selling at 25kes per piece
2.Fresh vegetables
3.Tomatoes
4.Potatoes
5.Oranges
6.Onions
With this in store,my daily sales will increase my daily sales hence my daily profit and meeting my customers demand.my plans are to have bigger store in near future which will also create employment opportunity as I will have to hire an assistant to help me and inturn changing my life too.
